about
A question to the listener... Though the internet has proven to be an immensely useful tool, there might be some large, socially debilitating characteristics to the way we communicate via texting and the internet. Are we really trying to solve problems... or just complain about them on the internet and seek validation in communities that we already know will agree with us?

LYRICS
Paste it on a frame strong,
Vent and give it air to breathe,
But not in cyberspace,
the victimhood,
It came to mind…
It seems like you’re scrolling on your screen,
everytime…
So turn it all the ways off,
Just bring it all the way to me,
No, no, it’s not like we’ve been here before…
But it just may be,
that all this time you’ve been glued to the screen,
Computers in your pocket boost your self-esteem,
Anything to break your wandering mind,
We sink or swim,
but doesn’t really work to play victim,
It’s warm, the arrogance your basking in,
It’s alright, go on and leave your pride…
Live it, I don’t need talk,
Don’t try to blame it all, you bleed,
The essence of a frightened
soul in need…
Of culture tones,
But still,
you’ve never really left your home,
It must be nice to be so comfortable,
It’s alright,
go on and live outside,
It seems to me,
That all your senseless insecurities,
Are mirrored on the face of every TV screen,
Wandering,
endless in your mind…
I know I need to be clear,
But I can’t relate to my peers,
You know I want to leave this all behind,
Unless you want to say to me,
Whatever you need to say to me…
For heaven’s sake,
neutral,
I’ve never known which side to take,
it’s full,
And I’m waiting on the wave to break,
it’s pull,
Abreast a kindred tide…
If it was up to me,
I’d show you all the ways that there’s no right decree,
So stop trying to correct, they can disagree,
Just go on, and live it in your life,
I know I’m hard to please,
and so far from perfection, it’s a comedy,
But fuck all of this anger, get it out of me,
And leave me with a question wondering why…

Exploring the
complexity of life choices, Warren Thomas Fenzi challenges any clear line between generalities, inner truth and self doubt. Suspended, he peers into a looking glass, exploring the possibility that what we believe to be legitimate and authentic, may not be so....more
