Breathing soft, The rain, Holding on, Summer came, Then fall, Seeking words, To tell, Of passing time, We knew, So well… Summer Wading, Birthed within the elegance, Caller waiting, stoned, Now fall is fading, Passed between the episodes, Of ages born to gold… Breathing soft, The days, Holding on, To all the ways, We’ve loved, Seeking words, To tell, Acts unwind, Infused, So well… Summer Wading, Birthed within the elegance, Caller waiting, stoned, Now fall is fading, Passed between the episodes, Of ages born to gold… Summer Wading, Birthed within the elegance, Caller waiting, stoned, Fall is fading, Passed between the episodes, Of everything we’ve known.

Sunday 03:07
My fascination grows, You pollinate my mind, Oh, holy rollers know… I've been thinking, I'm falling, It's because, I'm calling, A friend who opens wide... I've been thinkin’ ‘bout it, it’s all day, Give me something sweet like a first date, I could be your everything always, Oh, it cakes in my mind… I’m livin’ to believe I’ve a soulmate, But I’ve been feelin’ you like a Sunday, So put your head back on, it’s all me, You can rest in my…twine… In less than evident folds, You’ll live it all within time, I’ve only been dreaming of… Foundations, to follow, I’m waitin’, I’m callin’, My patience, it falters, It’s blatant and forgotten… I came here to swallow, My pride bends and hollows, Encase all my jargon, And inflate something gold and bright… You’re the sundown on a hot day, I’ma sing it out like your birthday, See, I could really get on your wavelength, And steer it home right… I’m living to believe I’ve a soulmate, But I’ve been feeling you like a Sunday, Now can’t we just sing it on out and let all our song-birds fly.

The Cubicle 04:37
The patient floss, he consecrates, An aimless toss, an about-face, The rising cost of anything unknown… Deflated in his office chair, His vacant heart, and thinning hair, Could take him in his sleep and no one would know… Oh, he’s waiting on something, He’s banking on his patience, To get him where he’s trying to go, Closed yet open to his finance, He’s raking in the glances, Of where he’s been before… …because four little walls can you make you… Rich. Eventual. Now phones will ring and keys will tap, “Abolished feelings”, “taking crap”, Were published in the job description ink… So he takes the shape of greeting-throb, While gazing freely, into oncoming traffic, To scream “FREEDOM!” At 65… Oh he’s waiting on something, He’s paving over anything, Just getting where he needs to go… Posed and waiting for his climax, Another belly full of Xanax, Will help to keep him calm… …he’s Rich Eventual. He’s a blind-man, he’s a camper, He was staring at the sun while, It was beating down the road… Now his 400k is waiting, It payed off, all that patience, Just so he can sit at home… …because four little walls can make you… Rich. Eventual.

Blacken the sun, And kill the trees, This is the only type of air I like to breathe, I close my eyes, And fall to my knees, I've walked for miles and miles and find nowhere to sleep, I don't know what you think about me, But we get along so please don't doubt me, I don't know what you think about me, But we get a long so well. I'll fetch my gun, And feed it three, That's just enough to pierce the sky and make it bleed, I pray for rain, To keep me clean, And wash away this jealousy that lives in me, I don't know what you think about me, But we get a long so please don't doubt me, I don't know what you think about me But we get along so well. I don't know what you think about me, but we get along so please don't doubt me, I don't care what you think about me, This love is strong and it's all around me.

Peelin' Away 04:06
Is it trust you're craving? Then feast on me. Who are you really saving? With those apologies. You've got your "sweetness" song, But you just don't get it, It's been too long, I've been away, Ain't worth a save that's all, You left unfinished, Don't try to make the call, We peeled away... Are you masticating? With heavy jaws, You were so elating, but then I saw... You and your "sweetness" song, You just don't get it, It's been too long, I've been away, Ain't worth a save that's all, You left unfinished, Don't try to make the call, We peeled away, You and your "sweetness" song, You just don't get it, It's been too long, You've been away, Ain't worth a save that's all, You left unfinished, Don't try to make the call, We peeled away... You and your "sweetness" song, You just don't get it, It's been too long, Now my feelings' changed, Ain't worth a save that's all, You left unfinished, Don't try to make the call, We peeled away, You and your "sweetness" song, You just don't get it, It's been too long, I know your feet won't change, Ain't worth a save that's all, You left unfinished, Don't try to make the call, We peeled away.

Everturning 06:09
Is this the evidence you’ve waited on? Unbalanced heads to shed the waking from, My eyes. Late afternoons you sing the shaking songs, But I… Can’t believe you, Swing more slowly, Cast it out with, Everglowing, Flashing dreams in, Passing motion, Packed until we are, Overflowing time. Is this the jealous case you’ve gained it from? In plastic action where the feelings come, To die. You build it up, just to drop it from, But now… The shape has gone skyward, Its clear and forming, I’ll keep my case fed with, Leafless showings of, Tantric frames in, Blue lights, glowing, Patched in symmetry, It’s my… Passive energy, Its my, Passive energy, Its my, passive energy. Is this the semblance you’ve been praying for? The thoughts escape a callused shape to form, My eyes. In candid takes, it mean to break, Only since my… Heads been spinning. Its overturning, with, Plastic ships in, Sea-side yearnings, Cast on endless, Spinning slowly, Passing facts that, Seemed more holy… Realizing, That we don’t sleep on the, Beds we used to, When we were younger, My heads been spinning, Faster. Ever. While watching you through… All this weather, All this weather, All this weather, All this weather, All this weather.

I Was New 04:09
I’ll sing my waiting song, In peace my true love grows… Is it so hard to believe you’re getting older When all I had to learn was getting sober, I Was New. Decide what’s calling most, Embrace my crawling ghosts, A patient heart waits… I feel it as the winter’s getting colder, And all I really want is to be closer to you. Is it so hard to believe you’re getting older? When feelings all collide while brushing shoulders, In peaceful long days. I know that you and I, we could afford it. Make a run for anything that’s warmer, We were new.

about

When Colin Loynachan first approached me with the idea to create an album, solely recorded with acoustic instruments, I didn’t know what to think. Up until now, my process has been quite the opposite of anything “acoustic”, but when Colin mentioned the idea, It felt right.

At a day-in-age where a lot of music tends to be “over-produced” and while also having had experienced the true magic of acoustic performances (like literally no amplification of any kind), and the depth of connection that comes from such a performance, it seemed like a perfect opportunity to capitalize on the beauty that is humans…in a room…making music together.

So, that’s exactly what we did.

That’s exactly what this album is.

Capitalizing on the beauty that is acoustic performance, "Live in the Atrium" lives and breathes with no overdubs, no added reverb, no corrections... just humans, in an Atrium, making music together. Everything you see and hear, is exactly what happened in that room.

“Settle in the space between, It’s where the flowers like to grow.”

Exploring the complexity of life choices, Warren Thomas Fenzi challenges any clear line between generalities, inner truth and self doubt. Suspended, he peers into a looking glass, exploring the possibility that what we believe to be legitimate and authentic, may not be so. ... more
